Custom Fitting A bike fit is crucial for any rider, not just the professional athlete. Whether you want to leisurely ride downtown, or compete on the mountain, a proper fit will decrease excess strain on your body and improve your overall performance. Your bike should be customized to perfectly fit you in order to promote ideal body mechanics for efficient riding and maximal comfort. Riding without a proper fit can lead to significant discomfort or injury.

THE ASSESSMENTThis is a comprehensive, 2-hour on-site ergonomic evaluation of your home or office workspace.
It assesses your equipment, space, and how you fit & function within that space. Each assessment begins with an orthopedic screen to help identify areas of your body that may be at an increased risk for injury. |
THE RECOMMENDATIONThe results of your assessment will be discussed in detail with you, including pictures to demonstrate the findings of your current setup.
Recommendations for modifications to current equipment & setup, for new equipment, and for body positioning will be given for improved biomechanics. You will receive a stretching & movement program based on your orthopedic screen coupled with your ergonomic assessment findings. |
THE BENEFITIt helps to identify at-risk areas of your body that may be effected by poor ergonomics within your personal workspace.
It helps create an ideal setup to optimize performance, increase efficiency, and to decrease injury associated with "poor posture". It has potential to reduce the amount of repetitions performed in the workspace that may be associated with overuse or repetitive motion injuries. |
