Maybe You've Noticed...

The Healthcare Options for Runners and Cyclists Dealing with Pain Aren’t Great.

When you’re a runner or cyclist in pain, finding someone who can truly solve your problem is hard. Most doctors will tell you to “rest it” or stop running altogether. General PT clinics will hand you a printout of generic exercises that don’t reflect the unique demands of your sport.

You need more than vague advice or one-size-fits-all rehab. You need someone who deeply understands your sport, your goals, and how to get you back to doing what you love—confidently, consistently, and stronger than ever.

So What’s An Athlete To Do?…

THAT'S WHERE WE COME IN!

Get Back to Doing What You Love—Stronger and More Resilient

At Fit & Function, we know that getting rid of pain is only part of the journey. What matters is getting you back to running, riding, and living your life with confidence—knowing your symptoms won’t come roaring back.

We specialize in treating runners and cyclists because it’s what we love and live ourselves. Both of our physical therapists are athletes who understand the mental and physical toll of being sidelined by pain. And because we treat endurance athletes every day, we’ve seen it all—from overuse injuries to post-race setbacks.

We’re not here to hand you a list of exercises and hope for the best. We create a results-driven plan using cutting-edge techniques and a deep understanding of your sport—designed to make you stronger, more resilient, and ready for your next challenge.

Hi! I’m Dr. Maria Leibler—a Doctor of Physical Therapy, certified manual therapist, and running rehab specialist. Running has shaped both my life and career. I ran cross-country in high school and briefly competed at the collegiate level before a torn tendon in my foot sidelined my career. That setback lit a fire in me to help other runners overcome their own obstacles.

After earning my Doctorate in Physical Therapy, I started my career in a busy, high-volume clinic—but treating multiple patients at once felt like I was putting out fires instead of making real progress. I knew runners deserved better. That’s why I opened my practice: to create a space where runners get the time, attention, and expert care they need to truly recover, build resilience, and reach their goals.

Today, I combine hands-on manual therapy with cutting-edge rehab techniques learned from top running specialists across the country. My goal is simple: to get you back to the miles you love, stronger than ever.

Hi! I’m Dr. Ben Hoskyn, an endurance specialist and certified bike fitter. I help runners and cyclists overcome injuries, build strength, and reach their full potential.

Growing up in the Midwest, I fell in love with endurance sports after running local kids’ races. That passion led me to pursue a career in physical therapy, earning my Doctorate from Pacific University of Oregon. My approach combines movement analysis, targeted strength training, and professional bike fits to address the root cause of pain—not just the symptoms.

Whether you’re coming back from an injury or striving for your next PR, I’m here to help you stay strong, perform better, and keep doing what you love—without setbacks.
